
Our school is called I.T.I.S “A.Volta”. A.Volta was a scientist that in 1800 invented the voltaic pile. It is a technical high school and is located in the outskirts of Perugia, in the centre of Italy. There are 792 students (771 boys and 21 girls) and 140 teachers. Our courses last five years, when students are in the third year, they can choose a specialization: Electronics, Mechanics, Electrical studies and Chemistry.
We are 15 years old so we are in the second year, there are 18 of us in our class : 2°B. We have lessons from Monday to Saturday, we start at 8:10 and finish at 1:20 p.m, with a break of 10 minutes. On Saturday classes are of forty minutes so we finish at 12.20. This is our timetable:
